Filteration

+ Select what you are interested in. Is it the museums you would like to visit? Or is it the theatres? Would you prefer a walk through the gardens or marvel at ancient manmade structures? Create a list of all the sights you would like to see. Note that a lot of public places of interest are free of cost.

Planning

+ The next step is to plan the process of getting thereWalking is the most preferable option since it offers a chance to feel the city and look around. However, when distances are too far, cycling is a more comfortable option. Cycles are available for rent in almost every city at affordable rates. Another popularly preferred option is the Hop-On, Hop-Off tour buses that operate in most cities. Look up information regarding its timings, the places it covers and the ticket pricing. Often, the HOHO buses cover all the important places of interest, making our lives much easier. There is always the option of public transport. Buses, trams, trains, metros, subways, tubes – every city has its own mode of public transport. Google Maps tends to be really user-friendly with routes and timings related to public transport. Lastly, there is the option of taxis. It is expensive as well as a bubble that doesn’t expose you to your surroundings. However this mode offers ultimate comfort. Sometimes, local methods of transport can also be amusing, such as rickshaws, autos, limos, carriages or Tuk Tuks.
